WHOLE 30: OUR IF-THEN STATEMENTS
EATING AT MOMS
If we are
invited to eat at mom’s house, then we will join them but only eat the Whole30
guideline rules.
If they
do not have any food items according to the Whole30 guidelines, then we will
eat fruits, veggies or foods that we do find that meet the requirements.
DINING OUT
If we are
invited to go eat out with a friend/family member, then we will recommend a
place that is Whole30 friendly.
If they
decide to go to another place, then we will have to be selective on items that
will meet the Whole30 plan.
TRAVEL DAY
If we are
road tripping, then we will pack ready to-go fruits and snacks.
BIRTHDAY PARTY
If we
attend a birthday party, then we will eat prior to the party or ask about the
menu and offer to bring a dish that is Whole30 approval.
DAILY RITUAL
If we
fill our home with healthy options, then when we do have cravings we can fill
ourselves with healthier foods.
STRESSFUL SITUATION
If we are
going through a stressful or emotional situation, then we will meditate in
prayer and reading the word of God, and find an outlet for quiet time.
If we are
going through a stressful or emotional situation and find confinement in
eating, then we will prepare a Whole30 meal to fuel ourselves.
LAZY DAYS
If we
have days where we do not feel like cooking and want to eat out, then we will remind
one another how far we have come and make easy prep meals to eat.
