Summer Roadtrip
2015
I had the most wonderful time traveling with my family
and seeing our loved ones these past few weeks. I truly did not want to
leave Wisconsin and Minnesota. The weather was absolutely
beautiful! We began our journey by visiting some family in Indiana.
We spent the night there and had such a joyful time catching up with them.
Then, the next morning we packed up and drove to visit my mom’s sister in
Illinois. However, before arriving to our destination, we made a detour
to try out some Chicago hot dogs! The hot dogs were GINORMOUS and
absolutely delicious! So happy we made the stop there. After
arriving at my aunt’s house, we went out for some pizza. The pizza slices
were fully loaded, extra thick and sized bigger than any pizza I have ever
eaten. (Can yah tell? I LOVE FOOD!) WARNING: Be on the watch for
tolls if you ever come to visit Chicago! The remainder of our road trip
was spent in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Hmong Annual Conference was held in
Minnesota this year. My family and I spent a week and a half attending
the conference. Then, afterwards, we traveled down to our Xiong family
reunion in Wisconsin. I love my family so much and truly am thankful for
such a god-fearing and loving family. If I could, I would rewind and relive
these past few weeks again. I had so much fun, met so many new people,
and got to grow closer with the ones I love.
