Boy. Has it been awhile since I've taken time to just S L O W D O W N and write what's been going on in my heart, mind && soul!  The new year sparked many new adventures in my heart, but with the passing of my grandfather, transitioning into a new home, and learning how to re-live again, I have been falling off the bandwagon with my goals and proper priorities for the new year.  So, here I am, three months into the new year, re-establishing myself in a sense to re-align my view and focus on Christ and my ambitions.

Chu and I will be interning in Michigan @ City On a Hill June-July, and although we are super stoked for this opportunity, there are also so many things we would like to do to prepare ourselves for this experience and ministry.  One not only being our spiritual well-being, but our physical health.  For me personally, I started falling of the exercise-cycle after my aunt's wedding in October.  So, YES, it's been like five months since I've had the proper kinda workout!  I would like to re-boost that priority back into my life! YAS PLEASE.  Secondly, I have been living a vegetarian lifestyle the past month and I want to get back into my roots of being pure vegan!!! So, with that being said, here are my new health && fitness goals to motivate myself until we leave in June to our internship!

1. Intuitive Eating
- We are so fixated on the lifestyle of breakfast, lunch + dinner.  And while there is nothing wrong with that mindset, Chu and I would like to re-teach our bodies to listen to itself and only eat when we are truly hungry.  It's been so long since I've listened to my body and actually hear it grumble for food!

2. Vegan Eats
- In the morning, begin with fruits and smoothies.
- In the afternoon, munch on vegetables, greens and whole foods.
- In the evening, consume a whole food cooked meal!

3. Movement
- In the morning, 20-30min. yoga session to begin the day.
- In the evening, 20-30min. cardio to end the night.
- Some sort of cardio activity at least 3x a week!

I attended a leadership training with my church last week.  And one of the guest speakers shared the power of leadership.  Leadership is not about power or prestige, it is about influence.  It got me soul-searching and pondering, "What kind of influence do I have on others?"  The message was so inspiring to me and made me re-evaluate my life and how I have chosen to live it.  He shared about purpose and going after our purpose.  The only one stopping yourself from being that positive influence and going after your dreams, is yourself.  From that moment on, I re-dedicated my life to be one that is going to continue to practice self-discipline.  May my life and choices exemplify Christ and who I am meant to be in Him.
