‘TIS
THE SEASON
Life on break –
Tickled with the fact that it is
FINALLY Christmas break! This fall
semester truthfully has been a tough cookie.
Many new challenges, assignments and trials were thrown my way. But through it all, it only brought me closer
to my sweet Father. I learned to prioritize
and manage time. I learned to “lean not
on my own understanding” and to truly trust in the strength and guidance of my
Lord. Reflecting from the beginning of
my fall semester to now, I have seen how much I have grown as an educator. It’s so encouraging to see how far God has
taken me in this profession.
A small update of my life –
1)
Christmas
cards
I have found true enjoyment in finding time to write encouragement
letters and Christmas cards to friends and family. Handwritten letters are one of my passions
and it was difficult for me to find time during the semester to write. So, I am definitely taking advantage of this
time for some writing,
2)
Christmas
Decorations Galore
It has been a Christmas interior decorating project, here at the
Yang reservation. I love coming home! And what is even better than coming
home? Coming home to a house ready for me
to decorate! I have spent the past few
days helping my sweet mommy set up the Christmas trees, make ornaments and
putting our home together for Christmas.
3)
Fixer Upper
My newest OBSESSION. Joanna
and Chip Gaines? #relationshipgoals
I cannot wait to have a little place of my own to call home. Magnolia Market treasures are on my wish-list. I love every aspect of this show and the way
the Gaines live their lives. Ahhhhh! #mydream
4)
Disney Tsum
Tsum
My cousin has gotten me hooked onto this super cute game! Not to
mention, it’s quite addictive… (yikes!)
5)
Vlogmas,
Garza-Maddalena style
I have been enjoying watching this newly-wed couple as they
countdown to their first Christmas together.
6)
Christmas
sweets and treats
For some strange reason, I have been loving rice crispy yummies
and have been making them quite often this season! Looking forward to baking Christmas cookies
and making our family gingerbread houses!
