It has been two and a half weeks since school started back
up. And may I say, life has already taken its toll. I have been back to back
filled up to the rim with assignments to finish and multiple to-do lists to
check off. I can honestly say that this would be my first semester that I have
ever experienced syllabus shock. But, I must admit that I am loving every piece
of it.
God has been so loving. He constantly reminds me that He is my source of comfort and strength in my times of "chaos". He has also blessed me with such amazing people who have loved and encouraged me greatly.
Now, let's talk
about Fall.
I know. I know. I
am totally changing the subject but c’mon,
Fall season is
just around corner!
I absolutely love
everything about the Fall season!
The weather gets
cooler. Leaves change and fill the ground with vibrant colors. Riding boots,
jeans, sweaters and scarves come out to play. Bonfires are built with s'mores to
roast and served with marshmallow hot chocolate. Pumpkin and cinnamon scents
fill the air. Thanksgiving is celebrated with lots of laughter, loved ones and soul-warming
delicious comfort food. Yummy scented candles are lit and cute fall décor are
being hung. So many wonderful things to be thankful for. So excited for Fall!
“Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all
the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he
is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with
thanksgiving, and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his
steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all
generations” (Psalm 100:1-5).
