Tuesday Blessings

This past week has been so busy for me.  But despite the busyness, that is not an excuse for me to not praise my great God for all that He has given me.  So throughout the day, I decided to take note of all of my blessings.

1. Children
I believe that children are constant reminders of God's precious and beautiful creation.  First, I am so thrilled to be able to teach such an energetic and lively bunch of kindergarteners for VBS.  Secondly, I am beyond happy to be spending this whole week with my precious triplets.  Children's laughter is the sweetest remedy to any long and tiring day.  So blessed to have these little sweeties in my life.

2. Heroic Acts
On my way to VBS, I witnessed a heroic act.  Scenario: There was a "college-aged" guy riding a dark green hummer who pulled over to the side of the road.  He then got out of his car and started walking back down the road.  I turned to look and saw that he was there to save a turtle in the middle of the road.  It touches my heart to see someone go out of their way just to save the life of a small animal.

3. Old Friends
So thankful to have wonderful friends.  Spending countless hours swapping stories, talking and sharing hearts with each other.

4. Hawaiian Bread
Have you ever eaten Costco Hawaiian bread?  Oh my golly jolly gumdrops!  They are so ABSOLUTELY magical!  If you have never sunk your teeth into this soft and sweet dough of yummyness, then you are missing out!  So thankful for food of plenty.

It's the small things in life that counts
So, count your blessings!

5. Victoria Strader
I have been so obsessed with this Godly and beautiful blogger.  If you have never read her blog, I encourage you to check her out.  I admire her so much! (http://www.happilyeverstrader.com/)

6. Lesson Plans
I am so thankful for my teacher education classes and the hours I have spent creating lesson plans for each professor.  It has helped and prepared me greatly to be able to teach my class diligently and smoothly.
