Thankful Thursday
1. Yummy Sandwiches
My younger sister, Constance, makes THE best sandwiches ever. I believe that if professional sandwich-making was an art and sport, my sister would be the master chef and professional. Truly thankful that she is always willing to make me (and anyone) her specialty sandwiches if asked.
2. Cheese Cubes
I am in love with refrigerated cheese cubes (preferably sharp cheddar and pepper jack). I seriously have been snacking on them all week and can never have enough of them! Oh by golly are they so tasty!
3. Fancy Father
I am so thankful for my father. He is the most patient and loving man I know. Not to mention, the funniest also. Thankful for his big heart and passion for God and his children.
4. Mondays
Yes, I did say Monday! I am so thankful for Mondays. I see Mondays as a source for second chances, fresh starts and new beginnings.
5. Challenging People
“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you,
bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.
To one who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also,
and from one who takes away your cloak do not withhold your tunic either.
Give to everyone who begs from you, and from one who takes away your goods
do not demand them back.
And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them."
